The only issue I had - I stayed in room It blows into the opposite corner, then gets deflected right at the head of the bed, so it's blowing on you all night. I most certainly apologize for the unrestful sleep due to our conditioner. The vents are equipped with moveable vents to with redirecting their air out floe for comfort. I will ask our maintenance team to further investigate. Our relationship with our guests is of paramount importance. Very disappointed, not the Novotel that I used to stay in. I most sincerely apologize your stay was not as experienced prior. All our rooms are equipped with bar coolers that are inside the cabinet beside the coffee maker. I will have our maintenance team investigate as to why your room did not. As we continue phase two of our renovation project, all our rooms will have artwork hung this autumn as we did not want to continue to disrupt our guests during the very busy summer months.
Had travelled extensively prior, received a call around 9: I would have gladly parked elsewhere, but to me moved first thing in the morning did not make for an enjoyable hotel stay. Friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The only downside was that there was insufficient lighting in the room, primarily towards the window. I have shared your feedback with our maintenance team to investigate how we may improve the lightening. I switched my room from a king bed to two queens, and received confirmation that because I had checked in online, my room would be ready for noon. This was the day of my sister's wedding. When I arrive at 1: When I stated that I had upgraded to two queens, I was told my room could not be ready until 3: When I explained that this would not work as the wedding was at 4: I asked to speak to a manager, who was also unhelpful.
He said there was nothing to be done. Sharif said I could use the fitness room shower to get ready for my sister's wedding, which is, of course, ridiculous. When my boyfriend suggested they let us in the room that was ready now, and then switch us to a room with two beds later, they stated that was impossible as they didn't have the staff to clean the room.
Of course, this was not my problem since I received confirmation via email earlier in the week. In the end, they did have a clean room with two queen beds ready immediately.
However, at no point did I feel that either of the staff who helped wanted to help. No one offered a reasonable accommodation. It was extremely stressful on what should have been a joyous day, and I am unlikely to to ever recommend this Novotel to a friend, family member, or colleague ever.
Further, I am a CAUBO member, so was extremely disappointed to see that despite this being flagged in my account, as that was how I booked the room, I was not treated with respect, hospitality, or kindness. In fact, no one even seemed willing to problem solve whatsoever.
I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. At Novotel, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. We have always stayed at this hotel. The rooms were totally renovated and were gorgeous and very modern. Extremely clean as well.
